Welcome to the 2008 HumanZoom cycling team, presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon. From road racing and cyclocross to mountain bike racing and time trials the 2008 team will be out in full force. In 2008 the team will be racing a full calendar on in the Mid-Atlantic region with a focus on the Pennsylvania BAR and few national races such as The Hills of Somerset, Fitchburg-Longsjo Stage Race and the 2008 US National Championship races.
Human Zoom Cycling is currently comprised of over 25 active cyclists. Our club members enjoy the benefits of training and racing together. Our members range in abilities from novice club riders looking to get more fit, to experienced racers that compete with some of the best riders in the country!
The Human Zoom Cycling Team is made up of 15 core racers who race in the Pennsylvania BAR series in the CAT 2,3,4 and Women’s categories. This first year has seen Human Zoom on the podium on many occasions! The Human Zoom Cycling Team is shaping up to be a top force in the Mid-Atlantic region. And the victories are adding up! We are quickly coming to be known as some of the “GUYS TO WATCH OUT FOR.” Come out and show some support!
Many members of the Human Zoom Cycling Team also become involved in multisport activities. Human Zoom racers have competed in several regional adventure races, and one of our members is training to compete in the 2006 Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon!
Our commitment is not only to winning. The team is also dedicated to helping the community. In the past year, Human Zoom Cycling has raised thousands of dollars for charity rides and events. Members have taken part in such organized events like the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Cancer Society rides. Some of our members also volunteer their time as mechanics and helping at rest stops. The Human Zoom bicycle shop donates parts and goods for rider support as well.
